Here’s the forecast for the final weekend of July

We're in for an ideal summer weekend.

Melineige Beauregard, of Quebec, Canada, works on her sand sculpture in preparation for the annual International Sand Sculpting Festival at Revere Beach.

There’s not a lot to report with the weather this weekend.

Let’s call it an ideal summer weekend. Expect more sunshine and warm temperatures.

Here’s the complete forecast for Saturday and Sunday:

Saturday will be beautiful.

Temperatures on Saturday will get into the 80s.

If you’re heading to the beach, the tide will be low in the middle of the afternoon, which will give you a lot of room to spread out your blanket and umbrella.

Sailors won’t have a lot of wind to work with this weekend.

Sunday will be hot.

More sunshine greets the region Sunday with plenty of warm weather and a little more humidity.

Temperatures will reach near 90 degrees and remain in the 80s along the coastline.

If you’re heading to northern New England or doing any camping there, you might experience a couple of thunderstorms, especially in the mountains. I can’t rule out a shower across the Berkshires or the higher elevations of Worcester County.

It might rain early next week.

The humidity will remain quite high on Monday and Tuesday as a frontal system approaches the region.

Air conditioners will be humming 24/7 before some showers and storms start to approach later Monday.
