While there is the potential for showers and thunderstorms in New England on Tuesday, the National Weather Service forecasts that much of the day will remain dry. If precipitation does occur, it will likely take place south of the Massachusetts Turnpike. Cloudy conditions will permeate most of the day, although some sun beams may poke through in the late afternoon. Tuesday’s temperatures will reach the low to middle 80’s, then dip between 65 and 70 at night. The evening is expected to be generally dry, save for spot showers or thunderstorms that could emerge near or west of the Connecticut River Valley.
