As Thursday begins, scattered storms left over from Wednesday may still be ending. The precipitation could continue starting midday and through the afternoon, when areas near and north of the Massachusetts Turnpike could see more showers and thunderstorms. However, the National Weather Service anticipates that the rainfall will be on the light side. High temperatures should be similar to the last few days, in the low to middle 80’s, although anyone along the coast will experience cooler temperatures thanks to onshore wind.
