Blustery weather moves into the region for the final day of the work week.

Friday will be rainy for most of the day, but the big story will be the winds. Strong gusts are expected for eastern Massachusetts from mid afternoon into the evening. The strongest gusts will be felt along the south coast, Cape Cod, and the Islands.

High temperatures will be in the 30s to low 40s for most of the region, with a chance for 50s across portions of southeastern Massachusetts and Rhode Island.

At night, the precipitation moves out, the winds diminish, and temperatures will drop ahead of a dry, cold day on Saturday.
