Thursday brings cool temperatures and the chance for severe weather in southern New England.

Around Boston, forecasters expect a cloudy day with high temperatures in the 60s and 70s. Strong and potentially severe storms with damaging winds and hail are possible, especially in southwestern Massachusetts, Connecticut, and Rhode Island. A tornado watch or warning could be issued as well.

That could change, though, so keep a close eye on the latest forecast.
