Here’s what to expect from Thursday’s weather forecast

Cooler weather begins moving into the Boston region on Thursday.

Forecasters expect overnight showers to wind down early in the day, especially north of the Mass. Pike. Rain will still be possible later in the day, particularly along the south coast. Temperatures will top out in the low 60s.

Much cooler temperatures are expected on Friday.
