“This one will pack a punch” is how Boston meteorologist for WBZ Zack Green described the incoming snowstorm set to hit New England Tuesday afternoon. Some areas are expected to possibly see 12 to 18 inches of wet snow, potentially with snow falling at a rate of two inches per hour, according to Dave Epstein’s forecast.

You know what that means. New Englanders are digging out their controversial space savers, hunkering down, and preparing to bundle up and head out on a particularly snowy Groundhog Day; some left to wonder if Punxsutawney Phil will predict six more weeks of the stuff.
