Thursday will start out dry across the Boston region before rain moves in.

Forecasters are calling for mostly cloudy skies and highs in the low 50s in many locations. Light rain arrives late in the afternoon or early evening. Rain will become heavier at night and on Friday. Rain will change to accumulating snow in the Berkshires as well as portions of the Worcester Hills.
