The region will enjoy a midweek warmup, but it won’t last long.

Forecasters expect mostly cloudy skies on Wednesday with gusty breezes and highs in the mid 40s.

Temperatures cool down into the 30s on Thursday when light snow is possible, especially south of the Mass. Pike.
